Junior League of Flint Annual Community Partners Bus Tour

Every September, the Junior League of Flint takes a bus tour of three local non-profit organizations serving women, children, and/or families for our Done in a Day (DIAD). It’s time for us to hop back on the bus on Wednesday, September 28. This year, we are boarding an MTA bus and will have the opportunity to visit a few of our community partners.

The Junior League of Flint will be providing some appetizer-type snacks for guests to enjoy on our tour. Please bring yourself along with an item or 2 from the wish lists if you are able, to provide donations to each of our community partners.

The Bus Tour is open to all active JLF Members, Sustainers, and Prospective Members!

Bus Tour Itinerary

Please park in the rear lot at Whaley Children’s Center 

1201 N. Grand Traverse St, Flint (See map below) 

5:00 - Bus leaves Whaley 

Stop 1: Whaley’s Journey Home 

Stop 2: Tour YWCA Safe Center 

Stop 3: Sylvester Broome Empowerment Village

The bus will arrive back at Whaley’s Children’s Center by 7:45 pm
