Member Benefits
Aside from the natural benefits of membership – community connectedness, meaningful volunteer work, training, a new-found set of friends – the Junior League offers a comprehensive list of benefits afforded to all members internationally.
Working in partnership with a number of national and international corporations, the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI) enables individual League members to take advantage of discounts at leading hotels and car rental agencies. Preferred Rates at U.S. Hotels and ResortsJunior League members are eligible for preferred rates at select hotels and resorts in the U.S. When making reservations at a participating hotel, identify yourself as a Junior League member to receive the preferred rate (no League identification card necessary). The Junior League preferred rate is determined at the beginning of the calendar year and may vary according to season. At certain times during the year, hotels may offer rates that are lower than the Junior League rate. When calling, always inquire about any other ongoing promotions! Participating hotels are located in Boston, MA; Charleston, SC; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; New York, NY; and Washington, D.C. This list is subject to change. League members can receive substantial discounts at New York’s Carlyle Hotel, located on Madison Avenue and 76th Street. To make a reservation, call 1-800-227-5737 and ask for the Junior League rate. For an up-to-date list of participating hotels, visit the Member and League Benefit section of the AJLI website at www.ajli.org. Car Rental Discounts
Junior League members are eligible for discounts when renting a car with Alamo, Avis, or Hertz. Junior League car rental discount cards and special promotional coupons are available from your local League office or AJLI headquarters via e-mail at info@ajli.org. To reserve a car, members call the toll-free number and provide the program code. The program card must be presented at the rental counter when picking up the car.
Information on these programs can be found on the AJLI web site. |
