JLF joined the fun last year, had such a good time, and we're doing it again! Great few hours and making a huge impact!
Dr. King believed that many social ills could be defeated through citizen service. Recognizing that 1 in 5 Genesee County families deal with hunger, we are setting out to combat this by engaging neighbors to help neighbors.
Please join us for a day ON rather than a day off on Martin Luther King Jr. Day! We will be packing 200,000 meals to provide to local Genesee County residents who are experiencing food insecurity.
No experience is needed and all ages can participate - great for kids (ages 5+).
Registration is required for each volunteer. Lunch will be provided.
Please register through our Wild Apricot, so we can be sure you're on the JLF team through United Way!

Bring a coffee and be ready to hustle! The Foster Closet of Michigan - Genesee County Branch is excited to welcome us back to make a greater impact. Let's work together to help sort and organize the numerous donations after the holidays are over.
Everyone is welcome!!
Plan to meet at the closet at 9:30! We will plan to work through 12:30!
RSVP so we know you'll be joining us. Please be sure to notify a league member if registered, and something comes up, because life happens!
You're Invited! Mark your calendars for January 30!
The Meet the League event is an opportunity for new and old members to mingle with prospective members and learn what it means to be a member.
Please invite your friends to this event. All are welcome to Meet the League!
The board will gather in-person at 6 p.m. to discuss ongoing matters, upcoming events, etc. Let's talk about what's important to you and how to continue to fulfill our league's mission. Send your agenda items to Kara Kunkleman prior to the meeting at president@jlflint.com.
Best regards,
